STARS IT Services
The STARS IT Services department is part of the Directorate of Sport, Trading And Residential Services. We have a strong link with The University of Manchester IT Services Division who provides most of the local campus IT services for staff and students.
STARS IT Services has a simple, but nonetheless important mission statement "To Seek to Excel". This underpins all of our activities including providing effective user support and services for staff, students and visitors. Through its activities, planning and implementation STARS IT Services is committed to supporting the goals of The University of Manchester.

Webmail Outlook
Access your STARS email online using webmail. You will have to login using your STARS username and password.

Hornet
Since 1998, STARS IT Services have provided Internet connectivity to many of the student study bedrooms in Manchester halls of residence through the Hornet service. This provides full access to The University of Manchester data network for members of the institution, including access to services such as the John Rylands University Library databases and to departmental file-servers, as well as a connection to the Internet.
